About Richard Ottley . . .

Richard Ottley is the founder and Senior Trader at Pro Financial FX, LLC. Richard has been focusing on Forex Mentoring Services and Managed Forex Accounts over the past 6 years.

Over this time, Richard has developed several trading strategies and systems that trade a variety of foreign currencies. His most successful strategy and revolutionary trading system has been the On Target Trading System™. The On Target Trading System™ is a swing strategy that captures both small and major market moves. The system was developed to enter the market on a calculated low-risk entry point and to capture the full magnitude of each move through its precise price targets.

Due to his success, many people including money managers have requested to be mentored by Richard Ottley on his techniques and money-making strategies. Richard began mentoring a few select individuals starting in 2004 and in the summer of 2006 he packaged his vast array of knowledge into over ten hours of multi-media teaching presentations that even the most novice of traders could understand. That training and mentoring package is known as the On Target Trading System™.

What sets Richard apart from most Forex mentors is that he teaches traders to actually predict the markets into the future. All indicators and Forex formulas use price data from the past. Most traders use this data to establish an entry and exit in the market, but that is not how Richard teaches his students to trade. He teaches, all indicators are lagging indicators, meaning that by the time the indicator shows a signal to buy, sell or get out of the market you have already missed the most optimum time to make the trade. If you use lagging indicators, you will always be lagging behind the market. The way Richard predicts the market is first through his understanding of a unique concept called Spiraling Markets. It is well known in the Forex market that 80 percent of all the wealth is earned by 20 percent of the market participants. Richard teaches his students how to follow these hidden 20 percent, that he calls the Money Makers, as they are the ones that actually move the markets up and down. Richard then applies special leading indicators that take the current price data and predict the entries and exits into the future thus providing low-risk entries and accurate profit targets which capture the full magnitude of the move.

The On Target Trading System™ has proven to be up to 80% accurate with very low risk entries. Richard teaches his On Target Trading System™ in his study course, but also offers live trading discussions, live-web trainings, 12 months of archived webinar coaching sessions, a trading Simulator that allows one to trade the past 12 months worth of data at warp speed, Clients Only Forum and a 2 Day Hands on Workshop. He strongly believes in helping and providing support to his students until they can stand on their own.

Richard Ottley, takes a very simple approach to trading and is a technical and systematic trader. He believes that the most important part of trading is not the trade itself, but the risk money management that is taken to protect profits and reduce overall losses. Richard does this through what he calls Liquid Money Management (LLM). LLM is the strategy placed on top of the strategy to reduce overall risk of loss as your account grows. It is a philosophy of how to withdraw funds from your account to eliminate the risk of the clients initial capital. Richard teaches that fear and greed move markets, but they dont make money. LLM is the process of eliminating the fear and greed factor on the clients side of the table even if someone else is trading their funds.

Richard received his bachelor degree in Entrepreneurship from Brigham Young University. It was there that he won the Entrepreneur Scholarship as a result of his financial company business model and comprehensive plan. Richard got his start studying the financial markets as a registered rep and financial consultant. It was through his clients that were facing retirement with little to no savings, where Richard learned the great need of money management, diversification, and compounding interest. Richard says, "The Forex was an easy transition for me. I knew that it took 6 years to double my clients account at an average annual rate of return of 12 percent in a mutual fund. The Forex enabled me to show my clients how to shorten time frames from 6 years to 6 months with not much more risk." Richard left the traditional financial representative side of investing and now functions under the title of a Forex Manager under the exemptions, laws and regulations of the Retail Spot Forex Market.

Richard serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Medicine Wheel Foundation a non-profit foundation that helps encourage economic development among Native Americans. One of Richards lifelong goals is to run for President of the United States. When Richard isn't working and trading he loves spending quality time with his wife and 4 children, studying US history and attempting to fly RC model airplanes.
